​"Coco was the happy sunshine dog. Alpha and bossy, but super friendly. She loved the mailman and had to nip at her sibling dogs when they had a fit about the mailman. She was in charge and had a large heart. (Physically and energy wise.) She was an awesome spooner and gave great gentle little kisses. I think I might like a small smile on her face. She always got serious whenever the camera came out!"
A hand painted original portrait of your pet is a keepsake.  In each painting, I add my artful interpretation of their personalities.

How it Works
You provide the photos. I paint the portrait. I will compose a Digital Photographic Layout, based on the photos you send.  It might include some of the environment or some flowers or a toy. I will email it to you to approve. Then I paint it in watercolor paint on 140 lbs stretched paper. I will send you a progress shot of the painting nearly done so you can approve the likeness. I ask for a 25% deposit to reserve the time in my schedule. If you prefer a different medium, you may request it. You have the option of framing it yourself, or having me help you get it framed and shipped to you.

A hand painted original portrait of your pet is a great way to enjoy them throughout your life. Our pets are our sweet buddies who keep us happy and fill our hearts with love.  It is a pleasure to see their faces everyday. In each painting, I add my artful interpretation of their personalities with vivid color and expressive brushwork.  An original painting can be a cherished keepsake and enduring memory of your special furry friend!

  • A deposit is required to start. You will receive a confirmation with the current lead time. 
  • Balance is due upon approval of a low resolution digital photo of the final painting prior to shipping.
  • Price includes the original painting only. Additional options can be added at checkout. See below.​

Details: 
  • Sizes listed are of painted image area and may be in any orientation or slightly different size to best suit the composition. 
  • 25% Deposit Required to reserve painting. 75% Remaining balance due upon completion prior to shipping.
  • Artist provides Digital Photographic Layout to customer for approval prior to painting.
  • At least 1 photograph must be submitted by customer. I suggest sending a few of your favorite photos. 
  • Pet owner/customer must own the rights & permissions to the photographs supplied. 
  • Guaranteed 30 day delivery from receipt of deposit.
  • Shipping and sales tax additional.  
  • Framing not included in list price. ​​

  • Artist retains copyright to reproduce the artwork.
  • If you wish to reproduce the painting as prints, a 10% licensing fee apples.

Frame it Yourself 
You have the option of framing your painting yourself ...

Have Someone Else Frame It
Your framer or interior designer can help you choose a frame to work with your pet portrait.

Either way, you should use museum archival quality matting materials and glass or acrylic plexi-glass with UV protection. This will prevent natural sunlight fading of the watercolor. 

I Can Frame It for You
I can help you order a custom frame online through a trusted framer. I will help you order the frame by sharing my screen on zoom and uploading the Digital Photographic Layout on the framer's website prior to painting. We then choose the matt color, frame style and plexi-glass type that best suits your needs. When I complete the portrait, I will ship it to the framer directly.  They will frame it and ship it to you. If you want additional framed prints, the framers can supply the prints and frame them for you.
